For the first time in India, Sony Computer Entertainment India (SCEI) has introduced the new 40 GB PlayStation3 and the sleek and light PSP with video out facility at an expo organized at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai. The impressive expo included seven gaming zones – Sports Zone, Speed Zone, Action Zone, Shooting Range, Gaming Dungeon, Buzz World and Sing Star Centre Stage. While Sony presented a multitude of games that comprised the PSP Spiderman specialty pack, PSP Simpsons specialty pack and three new games for PS3, SCEI country manager Atindriya Bose promised three more new games for PSP soon. According to Bose, although Sony aims to offer the PlayStation experience to the gamers, this event particularly aimed at launching new models of their gaming products. He said that a few weeks ago, the company had announced the launch of the 40GB PS3 in December, now they promise the launch of the 40GB PS3 in India. |
