India’s foremost publisher and online mobile phone games developer Jump Games has announced entering into a joint venture with Percept Picture Company (PPC) to introduce a succession of mobile games based on their impending animated feature ‘Hanuman Returns’.

The companies have roped in Microsoft for the Xbox 360- and Xbox Live - versions of the game that claims to have a slick interface, and is compatible with most mobile phones.

According to reports, the company has signed a two-year private universal agreement with Percept Picture Company to develop and distribute mobile game titles based on the film ‘Hanuman Returns’ and the first game of the series is named “Hanuman Returns”. It is expected to be released in December next in the country and features Hanuman in his human avatar on earth with the blessings of Lord Brahma.

Apart from being an excellent work of animation based on a mythology, the film as well as the games takes the Indian epic to an altogether new level by celebrating the hedonics Hanuman, the super hero of millions of Hindus across the world.

According to Jump Games CEO Salil Bhargava, the games based on Hanuman have great commercial scope as they are based on a larger-than-life character.

Bhargava is of the opinion that ‘Hanuman Returns’ is a virtuoso game that is bound to appeal to audiences globally. He says that this was a original scheme for them and they created a game that rightfully recreates the experience of the animated film ‘Hanuman Returns’ on to the mobile platform.

Meanwhile, Jump Games is also contemplating to begin a contest around the mobile game ‘Hanuman Returns’ as a part of the promotional activity for the game.
