Nokia Launches N97 Mini in India for Rs 30,939 |

THURSDAY, November 19, (News Locale) - Buoyed by the success of the n97 smartphone, Finnish mobile giant Nokia has announced the launch of the N97 Mini in India. Aimed at style-conscious uses, the N97 Mini is a device that promises to integrate the web by connecting users to online social networks so they can keep in constant touch with their friends and colleagues.
The Nokia N97 mini was launched by the company during its interactive-technology-solutions showcase called Nokia N-Tour-Age.
Nokia N 97 Mini is a slide phone with tilting screen that is 3.2 in dimension. The device has an overall dimension of 113 x 52.5 x 14.2 mm and weighs 138 grams. The screen provides a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels (QVGA) and supports 16.7 million colors. The N97 Mini is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera.
The N 97 Mini runs on Symbian OS version 9.4 and supports various e-mail formats like SMTP, IMAP4 and POP3. The device also boasts of a Unified MMS/SMS editor. Users can also access Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus Organizer and Lotus Notes on this device.
There is also support for Nokia Download! to discover, download, and install add-on applications and widgets. It has a full QWERTY keyboard that will allow consumers to experience entertainment of the highest quality.
The N97 Mini has 8 GB internal memory, expandable to up to 24 GB with microSD card. The device also supports a pre-loaded version of Nokia's Ovi Store, which enables consumers to shop for and install applications, games, videos, podcasts, productivity tools, web and location-based services.
The N97 Mini is due to start shipping in the last week of November for Rs 30,939. It will be available in three colors including Cherry black, Garnet and White.
